Description

We rent out our cottage with a
fenced plot of 3000 m2,
secluded location and own jetty
500 meters away by lake Tjen.
Access to your own rowing boat
at the jetty. Its nice to fish in
the lake and you can fish perch,
pike and zander.

Start the day by lighting the
wood stove and looking out the
window at the stately oaks and
untouched nature. Or in
summer time start the day with
a morning swim at your own
jetty. With a nature reserve
outside the grounds and
summer time, our sheep and
cows graze in the pasture next
door.

The charming cottage from the
1850s consists of two bedrooms
upstairs, one room has a double
bed and a single bed and the
other room a double bed. In the
living room there is a tiled stove
and comfortable sofa bed, in the
kitchen there is a wood stove to
burn in. There is a smaller
bathroom with water toilet and
colander. For rent per week
(alternating Mondays) or at
least two days in a row.

A large garden that is fenced
and outside the plot is the
nature reserve. You live in the
middle of nature but with
modern amenities and fast wifi.
If you want to combine work
from home with vacation, thats
great. The medieval town of
Söderköping is 1.5 km and
Norrköping 30 km.

Road Description

It is located 150 km in the
country outside Söderköping.
When you come from
Norrköping and drive into
Söderköping, turn right at the
third red light, towards
Nyströmska school, Östra ryd.
Follow the road for 8 km and
turn left towards Fillingerum,
after 6 km on that road you
turn right onto a gravel road,
where it says Sverkersholm 2.
After 2 km you come to a
crossroads where you drive into
the yard and pass a large lodge
and barn. Follow the gravel road
towards the barn and after 800
m you will arrive in Eklund
(located on the right) and park
up by the outbuildings.
Eklunds Food Package Book a
food package with us, you get
ingredients and recipes and you
cook the food yourself. Book no
later than 2 days before arrival
and the ingredients are left in
the fridge/freezer in Eklund.
Choose between: Meat package
(Organic meat from our own
farm, choose beef or game,
depending on availability)
Potatoes with meat are
delivered with two cold sauces
(homemade and ready for you)
and salad. Potatoes with fish are
